The Greenland Intercity Space Station in Nanjing, designed by Yungu Liu and Shuolei Zheng for Mantu Interior Architects Design, demonstrates that three-dimensional thinking dissolves this apparent contradiction entirely. Within a 5000 square meter volume, independent office spaces stack as discrete geometric boxes at varying heights and orientations. The spaces between boxes become collaboration zones. The boxes themselves become concentration sanctuaries.
